10.7 Cleaning/changing the dust brush of the outrigger arm

1.
Clean the dust brush and check if in good condition.
2.
Adjust or renew the dust brush if the outer slider is no
longer cleaned.
Adjust the dust brush:
• Loosen the nuts on the outrigger arm.
• Set the dust brush as low as required so as to
clean the outer slider once again.
• Tighten the nut.
Replace the dust brush:
• Loosen the nuts on the outrigger arm.
• Remove the worn out dust brush.
• Insert and adjust the new dust brush.
• Tighten the nut.

1.
Switch the machine off and ensure that it cannot be
switched on again.
2.
Dismantle the outrigger table.
3.
Move the sliding table to the left.

should be pushed from the base:
1. Remove the stop screw and washer with an Allen key
(8 mm).
