Making adjustments and preparations

8.12 Splitter

8.14.1 Loosening/adjusting the splitter

Prepare to change tooling.

Loosen the nut.

Move the splitter so that there is always a space of 3

to 8 mm between the saw blade and the splitter.

Secure the nut.

Only if using the splitter for the overhead saw guard:

• In addition, the marking has to match the upper edge

of the sliding table when the maximum cutting height

is set (indepently of the saw blade used).
