Making adjustments and preparations
8.18.1 Dismantling the scoring blade

Required tools:
• Allen key 10 mm
• Special spanner
1. Preparing to change tooling.
2. Place the special spanner onto the mounting nut.
3. Hold the scoring arbor in place with the socket span-
ner and loosen, anti-clockwise direction, the mount-
ing nut with the special spanner.
4. Remove the mounting nut, flange and scoring blade.

Attention! If working without a scoring unit, the protector tube has to be installed, to prevent resinous resi-

6. Only with the circular saw Kappa 40:
When using a 315 mm saw blade and a 120 mm
scoring blade:
Pull the lock to the front and then turn to the left until
the lock snaps into place.
7.
Push the whole tool onto the scoring arbor so the
adjustable machine handling elements are facing the
operator.
8.
Unscrew the mounting nut and fit the special spanner
onto the mounting nut.
9.
Hold the scoring arbor in place with the socket span-
ner and tighten, clockwise direction, the mounting
nut with the special spanner.
10.
Prepare the machine to operate.
