Fuel Tank
Fuel Tank
The fuel tank used on the 4.6L vehicle has been modified to meet LEV II emmision standards.
•
The fuel tank used on the 4.0L application meets LEV I emmisions standards.
•
New one port sender flange with no return line from the filter back to the pump.
– All other parts are carryover.
•
The fuel tank used on the 4.6L application meets LEV II emmisions standards.
– Includes two Grade Vent Valves (GVV).
– The Fuel Level Vent Valve (FLVV) is part of the fuel sender flange.
– The sender flange is attached with a new cam lock design retainer.
– Uses one 3.0L ‘‘torpedo’’ canister (vs. two 1.5L).
– Uses a small bleed canister.
– New supply line and routing from the sender flange to the fuel filter.
•
The fuel filter used on both application has only one inlet (for ERFS) with no return from the filter to the pump.
NOTE: Both tanks attach with common carryover fuel tank straps and torques.
