Quad Seating Package
Quad Seating Package
The quad seating feature (similar to Aviator) has been added to the list of seating options.
•
The 2004 Explorer/Mountaineer second row seating options are as follows:
– A 40/20/40 seating arrangement, where there are three seperate seating surfaces.
– A 60/40 seating arrangement where there are two seperate seating surfaces. One seating surface accomodates
two passengers.
– A 50/50 seating arrangement (quad seating) where there are two seperate seating surfaces that accomodates
one passenger each.

The quad seating is a carryover design from the Aviator with the following exceptions:
– Seat foam and trim have been changed to match Explorer/Mountaineer interior options.

Diagnosis and service is similar to previous model Explorer/Mountaineers.
