High-Speed Controller Area Network (CAN)

The high-speed CAN network allows inter-module communication and still operates if one wire is shorted to

ground or power. The CAN provides high communication speed needed for the Interactive Vehicle Dynamics

(IVD) system.

The modules on the CAN network are:

•

Antilock Brake System/Interactive Vehicle Dynamics (ABS/IVD)

•

Dual Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (DEATC)

•

Powertrain Control Module (PCM)

•

Tire Pressure Monitor (TPM)

•

Instrument Cluster (IC)
