Tasks
You can set whether to notify your phone number when making a PushTalk call.

PushTalk Caller ID setting Notify or Not notify
p When the PushTalk Phonebook List, PushTalk Group List, or Group Member List is displayed, press ( ) and select
“Caller ID setting”.
You can set a ring time for an incoming PushTalk call. “Disconnected” is displayed to the caller after the
ring time has elapsed.

PushTalk Ring time setting Enter a ring time (seconds).
p Enter two-digits from among “01” through “60”.
p When it is not necessary to change the specified ring time, press without entering a ring time.

When the PushTalk Phonebook List, PushTalk Group List, or Group Member List is displayed, press ( ) and select
“Ring time setting”.
You can set whether to auto-answer an incoming PushTalk call. The call is automatically answered after
switching to Hands-free if you set to “ON”.

“Auto answer setting”.
Network connection You can connect to the network to use PushTalk Plus. This is available only when you have signed up
for PushTalk Plus. (See page 98)

p When you make a group call with “Notify” selected, the phone numbers of all members are notified to all members who have received
the call. When you make a group call with “Not notify” selected, “User unset” is displayed to all members who have received the call.
p When a different UIM is inserted, the setting returns to the default.

This setting is effective only for a PushTalk call. “Caller ID notification” of Network Service and the “186/184” setting (see page 50) do
not apply.
p When you activate “Notify caller ID” from the Function menu for dialing, or when “Notify” or “Not notify” is displayed in the detailed
Redial/Dialed/Received Call display, each of those settings will work.

p When “Auto answer setting” is set to “ON”, your FOMA phone auto-answers the incoming call immediately regardless of “Ring time
setting”. The ring tone does not sound, the vibrator does not work, and the Call/Charging indicator and the backlight do not light.
p Even if the “Auto answer setting” is set to “ON”, Hands-free is deactivated when you open the FOMA phone after you answer with the
FOMA phone closed. Further, while the Flat-plug Earphone/Microphone Set with Switch (option) is connected, Hands-free is not
activated.
p
Auto-answer is not made during Manner Mode.
