3.4 Connection with AS-Interface (on DLP-VSE-...-ASi)
3.4.1 Assigning the AS-i address
Recommendation: Use the Festo addressing device ASI-PRG-
ADR part no. 18959 with adapter cable part no. 18960 (or
Siemens PSG).
Before connecting an AS-i slave to the bus:
assign an unused AS-i address to each AS-i slave. Set the
desired address with the AS-i addressing device. Permitted
address range 1 ... 31.
Please note
The AS-i address of the Local control unit with connection
to the AS-Interface is saved electronically after every
modification (no battery) and can be modified as often as
desired.
Remark:
– Factory setting of the Local control unit address 00
– ID code = F

– It is not necessary to parametrize the AS-i slave.
