Request diagnostic information
The diagnostic data are requested by the Local control unit
with the function
Slave_Diag . A description of this function
can be found in chapter 5.2, Diagnosis with PROFIBUS-DP.
Cyclic exchange of data
The cyclic exchange of data is carried out with function
Data_Exchange . With this function, the output data for the
Local control unit are transferred as an octet string of length
x. The length of the octet string depends on the number of
identifier bytes.
Please note
With the function Data_Exchange the Local control unit
expects the output information for the valve and electric
outputs. The input information is sent as a reply telegram
to the master.
