the station type “FESTO VORORT / LOCAL” and confirm
this with OK.
The icon of the Festo Local control unit

will appear under
the graphic of the master. The icon will appear if you have
copied the Bitmap file correctly (see step 3 of the prepara-
tions).
Station selection is then completed.
COM PROFIBUS configuration
Prerequirements:
– the Device data base must be in the directory of your PC/
programmer.
– the mask “Bus parameter” must be processed (bus pro-
file, baud rate)
– the PROFIBUS address must be assigned (see above)
– the station type “FESTO VORORT / LOCAL” must be se-
lected (see above)
