Open and modify an existing project or template:
a. Choose "Open an Existing Project" or from the File menu, select
Open Project
. This displays the open dialog box.
b. Browse for the file or template required.
c. Select the file and click Open .
Download a project from a TouchLink Panel unit:
a. Choose "Download an Existing Project from a Panel" or from the File
menu, select Download Project . This displays the Download Project
dialog box.
b. In the IP Address/Host field, enter the panel’s IP address.
c. In the Password field, enter a password if it is required to connect to the
panel.
d. In the Port field, verify the port number is correct.
e. In the Save In section, click Browse .
f. Locate the destination folder and click OK .
g. In the
After Download
section, enable or disable the option to open the
project when the download completes.
h. Click OK .
4. The initial screen is divided into a series of panes offering a range of tools that
can be used to design or modify the project. For full details on how to use
these tools, consult the Help file (in the Help Menu click on Contents or press
the F1 key while within the program).
5. To save a project:
a.
From the File menu, select
Save
Project. The project file is saved. If this is
the first time saving the project file, the Save As dialog box appears.
b. If the Save As dialog box appears:
c. Browse for the location where the project file is to be saved.
d. Enter a file name for the project.
e. Click Save .
6. The project can be uploaded to one or more TouchLink panels. To add a
panel, to which the project can be uploaded:
a. From the Project menu, select
Add > Panel:
