TLP 350CV • Installation and Operation

Network Connector —

The TLP350 connects to an Ethernet LAN using a

twisted pair cable, terminated with an RJ-45 connector (see the figure below).

Plug one end of the cable into the RJ-45 socket and the other end into a

network switch, hub, or router that is connected to an Ethernet LAN or the

Internet.

Use a straight-through Ethernet cable to connect the panel to a network

switch, hub, or router connected to an Ethernet LAN or Internet. Use a

crossover cable for direct connection to a PC (see tables below).

For 10 Base-T (10 Mbps) networks, use CAT 3 or better cable. For 100 Base-T

(max. 155 Mbps) networks, use a CAT 5 (or better) cable.

Video Connectors (TLP 350CV only) —

The TLP 350CV can display a video

signal (composite or S-video only) from an NTSC or PAL source using these

connections. S-video is auto detected. No audio inputs are provided.

The video inputs are normally used as a preview allowing the operator to

view an input prior to switching it to an output display

Video Connector (VID/Y) —

Connect a composite video or the Luma (Y)

cable of an S-video signal to this BNC jack.

Video Connector (C) —

Connect the Chroma (C) cable of an S-video signal to

this BNC jack.
