NOTICE
It is recommended to use a cable housing for the connection of the thermocouples (see
Fig. 4), to minimize the error of the cold junction compensation (for order information
see page 122).
NOTICE
Generally a standard thermocouple (length < 3 m) comes only with two signal lines.
If a shielded thermocouple extension cable is used, it should be connected to the shield
potential of the corresponding channel.
