7.7 Accumulator
The truck adopts diaphragm-type accumulator.
It consists of oil and gas section with a gas se-
als, among which, the oil of accumulator is
connected with oil circuit.
The oil will enter the accumulator when press-
ure rises, the gas will be compressed, and the
system line pressure stops rising;
When pipe pressure drops, the compressed air
will expand to press the oil into the circuit, thus
to slow down the decline of pressure within the
pipe.
7.7.1 Removal and Installation

Press the lift button (2, Figure50107) and low
control button (3, Figure50107) to lift mast to
proper height;
Engage the emergency stop switch and turn
off key switch;
Remove the rear cover(see section 4.3.1);
Unscrew the accumulator (3) from the direct
joint (1) with a wrench, and remove the bond-
ed washers (2).
Installation
- Replace with new bonded washers (2), and
then install in reverse order.
Accumulator (3) is mounted on three-way block
(4).
As the accumulator retains some hydraulic
oil, therefore, before removal, please place a
container or oil cloth underneath it.
