8.4.2 Faults and Causes
1
Fault Vehicles cannot lift or lower
Cause
a. Slack chain switch is disconne-
cted;
b. Slack chain switch with broken
circuit.

Speed Reduction Switch
Normally-opened (NO):
Terminal (2) and Terminal (3) for connection of
wiring harness connector to switch base
Door Safety Switch
Normally-closed (NC):
Terminal (1) and Terminal (3) for connection of
wiring harness connector to switch base
Lifting Limit Switch
Normally-opened (NO):
Terminal (2) and Terminal (3) for connection of
wiring harness connector to switch base
Slack Chain
Switch
Normally-closed (NC):
Terminal (1) and Terminal (3) for connection of
wiring harness connector to switch base

Fault
When 1-stage speed reduction
switch is activated, the speed is
not reduced
Cause
1-stage speed reduction switch is
not reset and always in a closed
state.

When 2-stage speed reduction
switch is activated, the speed is
not reduced
Cause
2-stage speed reduction switch is
not reset and always in a closed
state.

Fault
When 3-stage speed reduction
switch is activated, the speed is
not reduced
Cause
3-stage speed reduction switch is
not reset and always in a closed
state.
Speed Reduction Switch

Fault With door opened, the vehicle can
still travel or lift
Cause
a. Door safety switch is not reset
and in OFF state;
b. Door safety switch with broken
circuit.
Door Safety Switch

Fault Lifting mechanism cannot lift
Cause
a. Lifting limit switch is disconnect-
ed;
b. Lifting limit switch with broken
circuit.

Fault
Lifting mechanism does not stop
after the being lifted to the top, and
continues impacting the mechanic-
al limiter
Cause Lifting limit switch is not reset and
always in a closed state.
