A1-3 Cylinder
A1-3.1 Cylinder Removal
- Press the lift button (2, Figure50107) and low
control button (3, Figure50107) to lift mast to
proper height;(see section 4.3.1)
-Engage the emergency stop switch;
-
Remove the upper cover (6) (see Section
4.3.1);
-
Unscrew five bolts (4, Figure 50604), lock
washer and plate(3);
-
Unscrew the mounting bolt (7) from the
bottom of the mast, remove the pipe(1);
- Screw the bolt and pull out cylinde from inside
mast;
Hydraulic oil may damage truck parts and cont-
aminate the environment. When removing joints
or tubings, place a clean container under it for
discharge of hydraulic oil.
CAUTION
Please fix the cylinder properly first. Be sure
to avoid the falling of cylinder during removal,
resulting in personal injury.
CAUTION
Remove the under cover(14,Figure50106);
(see Section 4.3.1)

- Install according to the reverse order of rem-
oval.
Installation
Raise the vehicle high enough from the floor
so that you can access the screw that secures
the cylinder to the mast. Make sure to securely
block the vehicle or use strong supports so that
the vehicle won’t fall down.
CAUTION
