3.1.13 Slack Chain Switch

Location:

under the front mast cover;

Function:

Check the chain for looseness;

Description:

Chain switch is normally closed or

opened. When the chain loosens, the switch will

be disconnected;

Note:

Unserviceable.

3.1.14 Lifting Limit Switch

Location:

Right in front of the mast;

Function:

when the platform is lifted to the top,

the switch can limit it from being lifted again;

Description:

lifting limit switch is normally

opened. When the mast is lifted, the limit switch

will be disconnected it senses that the upper

roller is disconnected from the middle mast,

thus, the mast can no longer be lifted;

Note:

Unserviceable.

3.1.15 Speed Reduction Switch

Location:

Right in front of the mast;;

Function:

to limit the travel speed of forklift

when the mast is lifted;

Description:

speed reduction switch is normally

opened. When the mast is lifted, the limit switch

will be disconnected the sensing roller is dis-

connected from the middle mast, thus, the travel

speed of forklift is reduced;

Note:

Unserviceable.

3.1.16 Main Contactor

Location:

electrical mounting plate;

Function:

to connect and disconnect circuit and

to control the power transmission of drive motor;

Description:

to provide power loads through

controller under the circumstances that the con-

troller is failure-free;

Note:

Unserviceable.
