Fieldgate FXA42 editor

The device has a graphical editor which can be used to edit function charts – similar to the

well-known continuous function charts (CFCs). Function blocks can be used to connect the

inputs and outputs of the Fieldgate FXA42 and special variables.

A0034194

The editor basically consists of 3 parts:

• A toolbar is located at the top.

• Below the toolbar is the Diagram View. The current function diagram can be edited here.

Elements can be positioned and connected to one another.

• At the bottom, you can find a status bar that displays information on the state of the

PLC.
