Fieldgate FXA42

Hauser

Prerequisites for a FIS update

1. Insert an SD card in the slot of the device. The SD card must have been formatted

beforehand by the Fieldgate FXA42. An SD card with sufficient free space is required

to download and unpack *.cup files.

2. Tick the check box beside

Enable firmware update via FIS

if you have not already

done so. The check box can be found under

Settings

Update

, and then in the

FIS

Update

section.

3. In the

URL:

field, enter the following URL if a URL has not yet been entered:



https://weupcmasafgfirmware.blob.core.windows.net/fxa42/fxa42_current.cup

A FIS update can also be started manually by clicking the

Start update

button on the

Update

page.

Updating the firmware manually
Preconditions for a manual update:

• The device is connected to a stable power supply.

• The SD card has been formatted by the device.

• The latest firmware has already been downloaded or can be downloaded via an Internet

connection.
