Mains voltage
The MEDEA control unit constantly monitors the presence of 230 V~ mains voltage, which is detected
through the presence of voltage from the power supply unit.
The "No Power" event triggers a timer that delays the alert. The delay prevents alarms from being sent in
case of short power supply interruptions or resumptions. This is particularly useful in locations where
temporary power cuts are frequent.
The absence and return of mains voltage generates the following actions:

Table 9 - Events generated by mains voltage
1) The timer is reset whenever the triggering event disappears.
2) As soon as the battery voltage is below 11.5 V
⎓
, the "Continuous No Power alarm" event is
immediately generated, even if the "No Power" timer has not expired.
3) The default value of the "No Power" timer is 1 hour but this can be changed during programming.
When the timer expires, the "No Power alarm" event is generated.
4) The "No Power alarm" event is automatically generated when the "No Power" timer expires or when
the battery voltage is below 11.5 V
⎓
.
5) The action is carried out immediately.
