Replacing the battery
When a battery fails to hold a charge, it should be replaced with a similar one to avoid impairing correct
system operation.
Proceed as follows to replace the battery:
1.
Activate the maintenance status (see
paragraph 6.1
) and open the device
containing the battery.
2.
Disconnect the old battery and remove it.
3.
Insert the new battery and connect it with the appropriate connectors, paying attention to the
polarities.
4.
Close the device.
5.
Perform a battery test (see
Programming Manual
).
IMPORTANT
The battery must only be replaced by experienced and qualified personnel.

Total system shutdown
Proceed as follows if the system needs to be shut down completely:
1.
Activate the maintenance status (see
paragraph 6.1
) and open the control
unit.
2.
Disconnect any self-powered sirens and disconnect their batteries because they will sound for the set
time if the power is removed (if provided with this function).
3.
Disconnect the mains voltage.
4.
Disconnect the battery.
5.
If additional power supply units are present, disconnect them in the same sequence (points 2 and 3).
