Openings for routing cables 

The base of the control unit is already provided with rear holes for routing the cables (power supply, bus, 
etc.). 
With the help of a screwdriver, open the pre-cut holes for external cable ducts on the top and bottom faces 
of the box.

IMPORTANT

 If a mobile phone interface is installed, the pre-cut hole specifically for the external 

antenna assembly must be opened before fixing the base of the control unit.

To guarantee the opening and removal protection, a wall plug must be inserted in the hole of the tamper 
protection to signal attempts to open the control unit and trigger the protection if an attempt is made to 
remove the box from the wall. The screw inserted in the wall plug must protrude approx. 51 mm from the 
bottom  of  the  metal  box  to  be  able  to  act  on  the  microswitch  lever  that  only  pivots  on  the  fixing  pin  to 
guarantee  the  removal  protection  function.  Removal  protection  is  compulsory  to  guarantee  EN  50131 
Grade 3 certification. 
The tamper function can also be installed to provide anti-opening protection only. In this case, the system 
does not comply with EN 50131 Grade 3 certification.
