There are four configuration option choices to be made:
•
Which frequency pair is required?
•
Would you like a rack-mounted topside or a custom integrated stack interface unit?
•
Whether or not to have the OEM integrated RTK GNSS aided INS unit?
•
Would you like to have the 3400-OTS-based Sub-Bottom Profiler Kit?

Frequency Options
The 6205s2 is available in the following standard frequency configurations:
•
520 / 850 kHz Dual Frequency Side Scan with 520 kHz Bathymetry Data
•
520 / 850 kHz Dual Frequency Side Scan with 850 kHz Bathymetry Data
•
520 / 1600 kHz Dual Frequency Side Scan with 520 kHz Bathymetry Data
•
850 / 1600 kHz Dual Frequency Side Scan with 850 kHz Bathymetry Data

OEM RTK GNSS Aided INS Unit
The 6205s2 requires data from a third-party peripheral time/position/heading/motion sensor. This sensor
can be COTS (commercial off-the-shelf). The sensor can be integrated as separate components to the
6205s2, or it can be an OEM unit where the GNSS processor is integrated inside the rackmount topside,
and the IMU is integrated inside the sonar head unit.
NOTE:
When the 6205s2 includes the OEM Integrated RTK GNSS aided
INS unit, there is no need to use the RS-232 or LAN ports to receive data
from peripheral GNSS/Heading/Motion sensors.
