Chapter 3 Advanced Operation

8-5. Detection

If [Paper Empty] is displayed even though paper is stacked in the paper feed tray, turn off paper detection.

This setting turns back on when the power is turned off.

If a detection error persists even after performing cleaning of the sensor, contact your dealer.

Touch the

key on the [Ready] screen —> Touch the

key —> Touch the

[Detection].

The [Detection] screen is displayed.

When automatic detection is turned off, you must select the paper

Press and hold to return to the top screen.

Set the setting content of the following functions when the power is turned on.

•  [D-Feed Detect]
•  [Interval]
•  Processing speed
•  Paper size (DF-990/DF-990A only)

Touch the

key on the top screen —> Touch the

Turned On].

The [When Turned On] screen is displayed.
