Chapter 2 Basic Operation

Touch the [Standard Fold] key.

DF-999/DF-999A

The Folding Mode setting screen is

displayed. Proceed to step 4.
If the paper size is not displayed even when

the standard paper size is used, the paper

feed guide is positioned incorrectly.
If the folding mode is not displayed,

adjust the paper feed guide to the correct

position.

DF-990/DF-990A

The Standard Paper Size setting screen is displayed.

Touch the [A4] key.

Touch the

key.

Return to the Ready screen.

Set the feeding pressure adjustment

lever to [0].

• As the value of the scale increases, the

paper feed pressure increases. As the

value decreases, the paper feed pressure

decreases.

• When paper mis-feed occurs, increase the

paper feed pressure to [1] instead of [0].

• When double-feed occurs, lower the paper

feed pressure from [0] to [-1].
