Machines in CE version are equipped with a pressure filter shown in Fig. 5.44A. The element should
be replaced also when the transmission filter warning light starts glowing. If this happens carry out
as follows:

1. Remove element (1) from filter head (3) by turning it couterclockwise.
2. Remove O-ring (2). Check its condition. If it shows any signs of wear or deterioration,

replace it.

3.  Install O-ring (2).
4.  Coat the seal contact area of new element (1) with engine oil or chassis grease.
5.  Install the new element by turning it clockwise in the head till it contacts filter head (4).
6.  Make aligning marks on the filter and the filter head and then give the filter an additional

1 to 1.5 turns.
