Making a Voice Call
●
You can make voice calls using “Multiaccess” even when using i-mode or exchanging mail.
●
If you have signed up for Multi Number Service, you can make a call after selecting the registered phone number.

● You cannot make voice calls during 64K data transmission or video-phone calls.
●
Internal phones and other phones that do not support the entry of area codes cannot be used for dialing to the FOMA phones.
●
You cannot make a call by entering a phone number while “Keypad dial lock”, “Restrict dialing” or “Self mode” is activated.
●
If you have brought up a display other than the “Talking” display during a call, you can return to the “Talking” display by pressing
several times. If you press from the “Talking” display, the call ends.
● The strength of the signal changes if you move during a call. It is a characteristic of digital calls that they can be suddenly cut off. Try
to use the phone in the environment

When you enter the wrong phone number
Press . (Each press deletes the rightmost digit.)
If you press and hold for at least one second, the entire phone number is deleted, and the
Stand-by display returns.
● You can make a call also by entering the other party's phone number and then pressing

The call is made five seconds after dialing. If you enter a wrong number,
press to clear the display and make a call again.

When you hear a busy tone
The other party is engaged on the phone.
Press , wait for a while, and make a call again.

When you hear the guidance to tell that your call cannot be
connected
Press , wait for a while, and make a call again.
■ When you hear the guidance asking you to notify your phone
number
Prefix “186” to the other party’s phone number, or set “Activate” of “Caller ID notification” to
“ON”, and make a call again.
