7.2 BADGE READER
To configure it, connected the
SERIAL
of the BADGE READER (is hidden in one of the cable ducts inside the panel, not on
the door) to the PC and with a program to send a serial command, you have to send this command to the READER:
{1B}M2
The READER, if it has properly receive the command, it will answer
–M2
From this point the READER will only function in data transmission.
By inserting a badge now, comes in response a string with the ID number of the BADGE in full.
Connecting the Badge to the 3590E

2 = TX
19 = RX
3 = RX
18 = TX
5 = GND
20 = GND
The READER must be installed on the RX terminal block of the COM Prn of the Indicator .
3590E/EGT Configuration
To use the BADGE is necessary to enable the step
Setup >> Serial >> READER
on the Com.Prn.
Set
F.ModE >> totAL >> A.inout
on
ENABLED.
To use the BADGE READER for the Automatic Input/Output operation (
A.inout
) parameters must be set parameters in the
step
