A series of 4 and 3 digits will be found stamped onto the inside of the shim.
The 3 digits indicate the thickness, e.g.: 450 correspond to 2.45 mm.
8. Select:
- The valve shim according to the attached table.
9. Fit:
- The selected shims in which the setting was not correct.
Correct valve shims => Refit timing
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REFIT THE TIMING (continues from
Point 9 onwards)
10. Apply:
- A little engine oil to the camshaft supports.
- Fit the camshafts onto their housings.
