Troubleshooting

F0026 (Fault Reason 14, 15, 16)

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

BMS has detected that the

temperature in one or more cells is

too high.

1) Chiller fault.

2) Leak or low coolant in ESS

cooling system.

3) Short circuit of coolant tank

level sensor.

1) Troubleshoot specific error.

2) Repair leak and/or refill

coolant.

3) Replace LV harness or level

sensor.

Fault reasons 14, 15, and 16 are numbered in order

of increasing severity:

If fault reason 14 is raised, the high voltage power

and regenerative braking power will be limited to

50%. If fault reason 15 is raised, driving and

regenerative braking will be disabled and charging

will be terminated. If fault reason 16 is raised, the

BMS will request the vehicle to shut down and

charging will be terminated.

Warning:

Fire hazard. Until the error is

resolved, park the vehicle outside in an open

area away from combustible materials.
