Troubleshooting

F0026 (Fault Reason 1, 2, 3)

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

BMS has detected an overvoltage

in one or more cells.

1) Temporary overvoltage or

voltage imbalance.

1) Allow ESS to rest or discharge

and recharge ESS.

Fault reasons 1, 2, and 3 are numbered in order of

increasing severity. If one of these errors is raised,

regenerative braking will be disabled and charging

will be terminated.

It may be possible to resolve a moderate overvoltage

by allowing the ESS to rest for a period or by

discharging and recharging it. If these procedures

are unsuccessful, the ESS may be defective.

HMI displays or logs

Fault code F0026 and

BMS fault reason 1/2/3

Turn ignition OFF and switch

OFF LOTO switch.

Wait one hour before taking

any further action.

Turn the truck back ON in

accessory mode.

Access the HMI and check the

maximum cell voltage in the

ESS diagnostic page.

Is the error message

still displayed on the

HMI?

Yes

Complete
