F0010, F0011, F0012, F0013, or F0014 EHPS service code 5201

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

The EHPS motor controller detects

a problem resulting in possible

failure of the power steering

system.

1) Temperature on power stage

has reached warning

temperature parameter.

1) Dirt accumulation on heat sink

or fan.

2) System overload.

3) Ambient temperature exceeds

50°C.

Inspect the power steering oil

circuit for leaks and clogs.

Are there any leaks or

clogs in the power

steering oil circuit?

Repair the circuit

accordingly.

Yes

Inspect the pump for possible

defects.

When troubleshooting EHPS service code

5201, the technician is instructed to check

the hydraulic system for root causes.
