Troubleshooting

F0104 - Accelerator pedal sensor error

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

VCU has detected that the

accelerator pedal sensor signals

are mismatched or out of range.

1) Loss of continuity due to

defective LV connector or

harness.

2) Accelerator pedal internal

failure.

1) Replace LV connector or

harness per Service Manual.

2) Replace accelerator pedal.

The accelerator pedal position is detected by two

sensors for redundancy. If the readings from the two

sensors do not match or at least one reading is out

of range, error F0104 will be raised.
