Traction Inverter no contact

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

VCU has not received any CAN

message from the Traction inverter

within a specified time interval.

1) Propulsion fault.

2) CAN communication problem.

3) Traction inverter internal

failure.

1) Troubleshoot specific error.

2) Resolve CAN communication

problem.

3) Replace Traction inverter.

No Contact fault messages appear on the HMI

display and remain while the fault is active.

Historical No Contact fault messages can be found

in the HMI logs by selecting the MC43[2]log.
