Troubleshooting

Yes

Is there any connector

integrity issue?

Defective connector.

Replace the connector as

described in the “Wire Harness

Connector Identification,

Location, and Service Chart” in

the Service Manual.

Using a jumper, connect pin H

to pin K on the speed sensor

harness connector.

Is the error message still

appearing on the HMI?

Turn ignition ON.

Yes

Defective speed sensor.

Replace motor.

Reconnect the speed sensor

connector to the motor

speed sensor.

Turn ignition ON.

Is the error

message still

appearing on the

HMI?

Yes

Complete.

Disconnect speed sensor

connector from speed

sensor.

Turn ignition OFF.

Place the jumper between pin

H and pin K on the speed

sensor interface on the

traction inverter.

Turn ignition ON
