Troubleshooting

F0010, F0011, F0012, F0013, or F0014 - Power Steering system fault

Error Description

Possible Causes

Possible Solutions

The EHPS motor controller detects

a problem resulting in loss of or

reduced performance of the power

steering system.

1) Causes covered in TM4 power

steering troubleshooting guide.

2) EHPS system fluid too low

3) Leak or blockage in hydraulic

circuit.

4) Cooling, ESS, air brake

compressor, DCDC, or LV

distribution fault.

5) CAN communication problem.

1) Troubleshoot specific error.

2)

Check and add fluid

3) Resolve leak or blockage in

hydraulic circuit.

4) Troubleshoot the specific

system error.

5) Resolve the CAN

communication problem.

This error indicates that the VCU has received a fault

message from the EHPS motor controller. Result

through use of the Dana TM4 EHPS Motor Controller

MI06 Troubleshooting Guide.
