10. 10. 10. 10. Insert a new lamp, making sure that the lamp window faces
upwards and inwards.

Lift the plate glass up (using the handles) and place it back in its
original position (on the scanner frame).

12. Screw the four screws that fasten the glass plate to the scanner.
The screws should be rotated 90
°
, clockwise.
The correct closing position of the screws is shown in the figure on
the left.

13. To check if the lamp replacement was successful, scan a trial
picture in the
Reflective mode.
Always replace both reflective lamps, even if only one is faulty.
