7 Using the Monitor Ports

7.1

Overview

This chapter addresses how to accomplish the following items:

•

Display INVOS™ regional saturation patient monitoring system screens to an external VGA monitor
connected to the video out port

•

Use the USB port

•

Use the serial (digital) out port to perform digital data outputting (download) functions



WARNING:
Accessories not supplied by Covidien may not meet IEC 60601-1 standards. Contact the Covidien



Note:

Make sure the appropriate output device is connected and ready to accept data before selecting an
output. See Chapter

for setup and installation procedures.
