
CHECK STARTUP RESULTS

If the background results or Hgb readings do
not meet the criteria listed in steps 1 and 2,
repeat the Background test at the Analyzer
CRT. The Background test includes Hgb
voltage check and diff test.

BACKGROUND TEST
If results are still not acceptable, call Coulter
Customer Operations. Return to the System
Run display.
4.
Check the ramp and precision tests. If any
test value exceeds the reference value by 1%
or more, the test value appears in red on the
DMS screen and is flagged with an H (high)
or L (low) flag. If a flag occurs:

Set Up
System Set Up
Electronic Reference
to see if the values are correct.
b.
See if your laboratory has calibrated the
instrument recently.
