R—Router

T—Transparent bridge

B—Source-routing bridge

S—Switch

H—Host

I— device is using IGMP 

r—Repeater

Note

The capability of the Cisco SCE 8000 is ‘r’ (Repeater), 
since it is installed as a bump-in-the-wire device.
