Selection of Mod Check Type
TYPE: 00
0 = MOD 11 Non Consecutive Algorithm
1 = MOD 11 Consecutive Algorithm
2 = MOD 10 LUHN Algorithm
Details on the types of algorithms are given in the
Manual METAL DOT MATRIX.
Press Mod Type and Return.
The following options are now available.
A Branch to options for fields if one or more of
the fields options in LCD-14 were selected
B Branch to storing format, if this was the last
field.
Step-3: Protected Fields.
A Protected field is a field where the data is
entered into the format during the programming
or the editing of the format. The operator will not
need to enter this data during data entry. Data
such as Department Name, field headings such
as DOB, SEX can be entered as protected data.
Press P

The following options are now available.
A Branch to options for fields if one or more of
the fields options in LCD-14 were selected
B Branch to storing format, if this was the last

Step-4: Counters.
The counters selected in the section on the setting
up of the formats can now be entered into the
fields designated for the counters.
