Product description
The MASTER electromechanical harvester is a machine designed to make harvesting olives and coffee easier and more
convenient. The operating principle of the tool is to shake the tree branches through the combs (14) with which the head
(11) is equipped, causing the fruit to fall off.
The harvesting head houses the motor and the mechanism that drive the two combs.
The combs made of technopolymer and equipped with carbon fibre prongs (12) are extremely light and strong.
The head is equipped with a clamp to mount a telescopic pole to reach the tree tops on which harvesting is to be carried
out.
The telescopic pole (5) is an accessory and is not included with the machine. It is equipped with a quick-lock system for
length adjustment and has an extensible cable that transmits power to the motor located inside the harvesting head.
The handle that connects to the telescopic pole via the clamp is equipped with an ON-OFF switch (2) that controls the
switching on and off of the tool, a connector (4) that connects the tool to the battery via the power cable, and a fuse to
protect the motor against overcurrent.
The machine is equipped with a 13 m long power cable (16) complete with connector for the tool and connecting clamps
(17) for the battery. The tool must be powered by a 12V lead battery (not included). The battery capacity (Ampere) only
determines the operating time
The 'product table' diagram (par. 2.1.1) summarises the different versions of the unit, to allow the tool to be configured
according to work requirements.
The tool is made up as follows:
- ergonomic grip (1);
- telescopic extension pole (not included);
- harvesting head (11);
- power cable (16)
Intended use
This machine may only be used for the purposes expressly intended by the manufacturer and indicated in paragraph
2.2.1.
CAUTION!
• Any other use has to be considered improper and potentially dangerous for the operators’ safety. This
would make any warranty claims void.
•
If the tool is used for purposes other than those listed, it may be seriously damaged and cause damage to
property and persons.
Any other use, or the extension of the use beyond that intended, is prohibited and does not correspond to the
intended purpose of the manufacturer, and therefore the manufacturer cannot accept any liability for any re-
sulting damage.
Ways of use specified in the manual as incorrect must never be permitted under any circumstances.
Improper use of the machine and lack of maintenance can lead to serious danger to personnel.
The actions described in this manual as forbidden and not permitted, which obviously cannot cover the whole range of
potential possibilities for “non-permitted use” of the machine, are however the most “reasonably” foreseeable ones
and are to be considered absolutely forbidden.
