TX Protection
The TX will be disabled as soon as small or big motion is detected due to extreme motion or
severe shaking. The iNetVu
®
Mobile Platform will automatically stow if signal is lost and 60
seconds of waiting time have expired, or re-peak should the antenna be locked on signal. If
another big or small motion is detected within the 60 seconds waiting period, the system will
reset the timer and a fresh 60 seconds count will start (up to a 5min continuous count). The box
selected implies Motion Detection is enabled. After the antenna stows, no attempt will be made
to deploy or re-acquire signal unless the unattended option is enabled. See Unattended option
in this manual for functionality. The Motion Detection feature will be ignored if enabled along
with the Inclined Satellite Search. The Inclined Satellite Search mode has a higher priority than
the Motion Detection and thus will render the Motion Detection ineffective when both features
are enabled.
Movement Protection (not a selectable or configurable option)
The movement protection option is always enabled and is embedded into the controller.
Antenna will stow automatically when vehicle begins to drive off. The movement protection
feature will not function properly if the GPS is overridden because movement protection relies
on change of GPS speed (min 5 km/h) and location change plus a variation of 2 degrees or
more on Elevation. Overriding GPS will omit this feature and antenna stowing due to movement
will not occur.
8.2.2.7 Compass (Maintenance)
These buttons provide the operator the ability to validate the compass functionality and as well
the correct values at the four locations. The operator also can restore the compass to the
factory calibrated defaults. The buttons will change and or be enabled/disabled depending on
the type of compass that is installed.
