Used for all supported Gilat modems with iNetVu systems.
Motion
Customized search routine for Capricorn modem type and any Gilat modem that is compatible
with the OpenAMIP interface. This mode will wait to acquire GPS, Compass, and Beam
parameters from the modem and then
enters “Motion Mode” before starting to search on
satellite. Only the STOP command or hardware related error issues will exist the active “Motion
Mode”.
A. Once
the system finds and locks on the right carrier, the TX will be enabled, and system
wi
ll be put in “Motion Tracking” mode.
B. If
the system fails to lock on the carrier, it will go into “Motion Ready to Search” mode.
C. If
the system is in “Motion Tracking” or “Motion Ready to Search” mode and new
requirements are received from the modem to search for satellite, the system will exit
modes and start searching on satellite without waiting for GPS or Compass coordinates.
D. During the satellite search or if the system is peaking and new requirements are
received from the modem, the system will stop and start searching on the new
parameters without waiting for GPS or Compass coordinates.
Newtec
All Satellite and DVB settings are read from the modem using AMIP (OpenAMIP) interface, the
search settings are not displayed in the Satellite and DVB Transponder section.
Datum
All Satellite and DVB parameters must be manually configured with the correct carrier
information to successfully lock on satellite signal.
Comtech
All Satellite and DVB parameters must be manually configured with the correct carrier
information to successfully lock on satellite signal. Password must be entered in password field.
