8.2.2.4 Advanced - Target Satellite
The Target satellite drop down allows the user to select from list of saved satellites, longitudinal
and orbital values the target satellite to search on, the list will currently save and display 64
target satellites. The Multiple Satellite search when enabled will allow the search routine to
continue searching on the next target satellite in the list, currently the operator can configure
and or set 3 satellites that the search routine will automatically toggle through in the order they
are listed while attempting to lock on satellite signal if the first in the list fails. The search will
stop if all 3 satellites did not yield a lock on signal.

GPS Override Enabled
Enables the GPS coordinates to be manually overridden. This should only be enabled if the
GPS Antenna is malfunctioning and the user has a reliable, alternate source for coordinates. If
this box is checked, the GPS coordinates should be manually entered in the ‘GPS Lat’, and the
‘GPS Lon’ fields described.
**Note:
If you have overridden the GPS coordinates, they will have to be updated if the
Mobile Platform has moved to a new location since the overridden values will no longer
be accurate.
Warning:
Overriding the GPS prevents the movement protection feature from working
properly and thus will not stow the antenna if vehicle drives off, as neither speed nor
GPS relocation can be detected. Moving vehicle speed must reach min 5km/h plus
Elevation angle shift of 2 degrees or more with a change in GPS coordinates for the
movement protection feature to trigger.
