Actual Value Display

The actual value display (Figure 2-3) indicates the actual centrifuge 
operating conditions.

ROTOR ID

Indicates the installed rotor. At the start of a run, this field is blank. 
During acceleration, the centrifuge identifies the installed rotor and 
displays the rotor name.

SPEED

Indicates rotor speed in revolutions per minute (rpm), or in relative 
centrifugal field, a term describing the ratio of the centrifugal acceler-
ation at a specified radius and speed to the standard acceleration of 
gravity (RCF
