C.4 Function of Control Programs

(Mk5 Controller)

C.5 Parameters – Fixed Speed

Compressor (Mk5 Controller)

The compressor parameters are separated into

the two following sections: C.5.1 Regulation

and C.5.2 General. The two sections are located

under “Settings” on the compressor controller.

Program / Function

Description

Main Screen

Shows in status of the compressor operation and is the gateway to all func-

tions implemented in the controller. There are four sections on the Main

Screen:

• Section A shows information regarding the compressor operation (e.g.

the outlet pressure, temperature at the compressor outlet).

• Section B shows Status Icons.

• Section C is called the Status bar. This bar shows the text that corre-

sponds to the selected icon.

• Section D shows the Action buttons. These buttons are used to call up or

program settings, to reset a motor overload, service message or emer-

gency stop, and to have access to all data collected by the regulator.

Inputs Menu

Call up information regarding the actually measured data and the status of

some inputs such as the emergency stop switch.

Outputs Menu

Call up information regarding the actual status of some outputs such as the

condition of the Fan overload contact, the Emergency stop contact, etc.

Menu Icon, Counters

Call up the running hours, the loaded hours, the number of motor starts, the

number of hours that the regulator has been powered, and the number of

load cycles.

Service Menu

Reset the service plans which are carried out, check when the next service

plans are to be carried out, find out which service plans were carried out in

the past, and modify the programmed service intervals.

Menu Icon, Settings

Display and modify a number of general settings (e.g. Time, Date, format,

Language, units...).

Menu Icon, Event History

Call up the last shut-down and last emergency stop data.

Menu Icon, Test

Carry out a display test, i.e. to check whether the display and LEDs are still

intact.

Menu Icon, Password

If the password option is activated, it is impossible for non-authorized per-

sons to modify any setting.
