Press the Manual softkey to exit the Manual menu.

Appliqué

Appliqué rotates the main motor so the presser foot can be pressed down

manually, to accurately position the frame or appliqué.

Using Appliqué

If you were sewing, move the Start/Stop bar to the right to stop.

Press the Manual softkey. The Manual menu displays.

Press B, below the Appliqué icon. The following screen displays,

telling you to use the Start/Stop bar to execute.

Move the Start/Stop bar to the left or

press the green Start button. The

take-up lever of the current needle

lowers.

Manually move the presser foot closer to

the fabric.

NOTE: The presser foot can only be

moved a set distance, as determined by

MC parameter 18, Appliqué. If you need

to move it closer, this parameter can be

changed. See the Mechanical Guide for

information on MC parameters.

Use the jog keys to move the

pantograph, aligning it correctly for the

start of the pattern or the appliqué

position.

Move the Start/Stop bar to the left or

press the green Start button to return the

presser foot and take-up lever to the

normal position.
