7.2 Coin Mechanism replacement
The MPU6 horizon machine is fitted with a SR5I coin mech that has been set to encryption
mode.
The replacement if required needs to be set to this mode as mechs used on the MPU5
Horizon are not compatible.
Switch off the mains power to the machine and disconnect the mains plug from the power
point.
Gain access to the interior of the machine as described in the specific Machine Manual.
7.2.1 Resetting the CCtalk Address on the SR5i mech
In the event of having to reset the CCtalk address on the SR5I mech, please follow the
instructions given below:
Make note of the position of the rotary dial and switches 1 and 2.
Turn the rotary dial to position B and set switch 1 to up and 2 to the down position.
Press the program button until the LED turns red then release.
Turn the rotary switch including switch 1 and 2 back to their original position the press the
program button.
7.2.2 Resetting the Encryption key to factory default.
In the event of having to reset the encryption key on the SR5i mech, please follow the
instructions given below.
Make note of the position of the rotary dial and switches 1 and 2.
Turn the rotary dial to position A and set switches 1 and 2 to the down position.
Press the program button until the LED turns red then release.
Turn the rotary switch including switch 1 and 2 back to their original position the press the
program button.
