Basic Procedure
BP5: Job Deletion
2
The prompt will ask “FLUID TYPE: ?”.
Select the fl uid type to be deleted by
using one of the four fl uid selector keys on
the console. After selection, the fl uid type
(such as “5W20”) will appear on line 2. You
can still edit the selection by pressing another
fl uid key. Then press “ENTER” to continue.
3
The next display shows status details
for dispense jobs. The fi rst line shows
the fl uid type and job number. The second
line shows a queue indicator (Q01234), in which
the highlighted queue item is the displayed
job.
For example, Q0 highlighted means the
current active job is displayed, Q2 highlighted
means the second job in queue is displayed,
etc.
The second line also shows the job station
number, amount authorized and amount dis-
pensed. Scroll to highlight job Q0. Then press
“ENTER” to delete job Q0. All other jobs will
move forward one space in the queue.
If you wish to delete a different job from queue,
you must fi rst “jump” that job forward to Q0
status, using the “QUEUE JUMPING” proce-
dure, then use this procedure to delete the job.
4
The display will then show two consec-
utive confi rming statements, beginning
with “KILL JOB 00012:?”, for which you will
respond with yes/no, then “ENTER”
5
After confi rmation, the job queue will be
changed, and a message will confi rm
that the selected job has been deleted. Allow
6 to 8 seconds for the system to refresh
information.
During these steps, if you make an entry mis-
take, press “NEW” to return to
“SPECTRUM
100, IDLE”
.
